Bentley wants Daggers to score first

Mark Bentley is hoping that the Daggers can score first at Edgar Street tomorrow evening. Bentley signed by Dagenham at the start of the season has already scored five goals from midfield. The two sides scored nine goals between them in midweek and so he thinks that the game could become a shooting gallery.

He told the Non-League Paper: "All of the boys are in great spirtis, although it seems as though when we don't score first we find it hard to go on and win the game.

"We seem to like it when the cameras are on us. I think it's due to knowing that the extra bit of pressure is on us as there are people at home watching and that gives us a bit of an extra buzz."

Dagenham have two games in three days as they face Leyton Orient on Wednesday in the LDV Vans trophy.

Meanwhile, it has been announced that the Farnborough manager Tommy Taylor has quit.
